meetperry is a members-only private markets club that calls itself the family office, re-imagined. It was founded in New York in 2021 by Matthew Bernard, who previously co-founded ENSO Financial Analytics, and Michael Gentile, and it wraps three things into one membership: thematic investment education, curated access to alternatives, and a member platform it styles the first private markets operating system.
Who takes part
Membership is individual and gated by US securities law: the terms restrict access to accredited investors and qualified purchasers. The site claims more than 1,200 members across 250 cities in the US, Europe and Asia, with US$50 billion in collective net worth. Those figures are self-reported.
The room mixes wealthy individuals, founders and operators, and family office leaders. It is not a family-office-only community: the modern family office is the product idea, not a membership requirement, which is why it carries an accredited-investors label in this directory.
How access works
You apply through a waiting-list form asking for your background and motivation, or inquire directly. The terms are unusually plain about the gate: admission is at meetperry's absolute discretion, with identity and KYC checks required.
It is a paid membership with annual renewal, but no fee figure is published anywhere. Company materials add that members pay no investment-level fees, with the subscription funding the platform instead. Confirm both the fee and the no-fee claim on deals when you apply.
What members get
Education leads. The programme runs on an annual thematic calendar, sixteen themes for 2026 spanning AI, energy and nuclear, biosciences, space, sports and digital assets, delivered through monthly deep-dive whitepapers, live sessions with active fund managers, and member-led Elevate sessions, plus curated in-person events.
Access follows: alternatives curated across the firm's five-category taxonomy of hedge funds, venture capital, private equity, private credit and real assets, historically syndicated alongside the firm's own capital. An in-house alternatives team runs diligence, and a separate programme white-labels the education and deal flow for independent advisory firms.
One point for diligence: the membership terms state that meetperry does not render investment advice through the website. Ask how any vehicle you allocate to is structured and regulated before committing.
For a family office reader, judge it as an education-plus-access layer for alternatives rather than a peer network. The investor communities elsewhere in this category put members in conversation with each other first; this one puts a curriculum and a curated shelf first, and that is the trade.
