COREangels calls itself the complete angel investing experience, and the structure explains the claim. Rather than running a single angel club, it operates 12 angel funds alongside local club communities, connecting more than 300 angel investors across over 20 countries and holding a portfolio of more than 100 startups.
Who joins
Individuals who want a managed, structured route into angel investing rather than an unguided one. Investment opportunities are subject to eligibility and suitability checks and to the legal requirements of each jurisdiction, so the accreditation test depends on where you are.
The model suits someone with capital and limited time more than an experienced angel with their own deal flow. That is a legitimate audience and an under-served one.
How access works
Three routes, layered.
The COREangels Club is the membership tier, built around learning, connecting and gaining experience: monthly meetups, courses and local club activity, plus access to syndicate deals. Syndicates let members invest deal by deal, with club members getting priority terms. The angel funds are professionally managed and give diversified exposure without picking individual companies.
No fees, minimum commitments or fund terms are published, so all of it comes on enquiry. That is a real gap for a structure this layered, since the cost of club membership and the terms of the funds are separate questions and both matter.
What members get
The layering is the point, and it addresses a genuine problem. A traditional angel club expects you to evaluate companies yourself, which most new investors cannot do well and which is how early money gets lost. A blind fund removes the learning entirely.
COREangels lets you take the fund for diversification, the syndicate for deals you have a view on, and the club for the education that eventually makes your own judgement worth something. Running all three under one roof is unusual.
The geographic spread is the other feature. More than 20 countries, with Lisbon established and further clubs opening in Miami and Madrid, gives access to European and Latin American deal flow that a US-centred network will not show you.
For a family office, the honest read is that this suits a family building capability rather than one that already has it. If a next-generation member wants to learn angel investing with a managed structure around them, the model fits. Establish the fees and fund terms first.
