The UK Family Office Summit Oxford is a two-day summit run by Private Markets Group, a UK events company, with its first edition on 24 and 25 November 2026 at The Randolph Hotel in Oxford. The organiser says it was created in response to feedback from single family office principals and built around the family office community, with an agenda on UK private markets, growth and innovation alongside governance, succession and the preservation of private capital.
Who attends
The organiser sets a target composition of about 70% family offices, UHNW wealth owners and institutional investors to 30% carefully selected fund managers, executives and private wealth specialists, and limits the room to 100 verified delegate places. The attendee list it describes runs from family office principals, next-generation members and chief investment officers to LPs, sovereign funds, founders of private companies and university spin-outs, specialist advisers and investment promotion agencies. It quotes more than £5 billion of reported assets under management among registered attendees.
That 70:30 rule places it between the invitation-only peer forums, which admit almost no providers, and the open conferences, which cap nothing. It is the same ratio Alea Global uses for its regional summits.
How access works
Attendance is by invitation and each application is reviewed individually. Complimentary LP passes go to qualifying asset owners and capital allocators after verification and organiser approval. Prices for managers and sponsors are not published; ask the organiser.
What attendees get
Two days and 24 programme sessions across private equity and secondaries, private credit, real estate and real assets, infrastructure and natural capital, venture and direct investing, UK innovation, digital assets, AI and family office technology, governance and operations, succession, cross-border wealth and philanthropy, with networking built around the Oxford setting.
This is a first edition, so there is no track record to judge it by. The signals in its favour are the published ratio, the cap on places and the subject, UK private markets, which no other family office event in this directory takes as its theme. Families who want an established UK room can compare the Citywire Private Office Retreat the week before, which is for investment staff only, or Prestel & Partner's Family Office Forum London in July.
