This is the East Coast edition of IMN's real estate and private wealth forum, run under Informa Connect and held over two days at the Loews Coral Gables in South Florida; the 2026 edition is on 26 and 27 October. It is the autumn counterpart of the West edition held at Dana Point each June. Like that event it is vertical: real estate is the subject, and family offices are one of several audiences that invest in it.

Who attends

The room mixes family offices and private investors with wealth managers, registered investment advisers, consultants, real estate operators and developers, fund professionals, private equity investors and the firms that sell services into the sector. The organiser quotes more than 400 professionals and frames the event as connecting private capital with real estate opportunities, which tells you the direction of travel: sponsors come to raise capital, families come to find deals and compare notes.

The badge on this listing marks it as an advisers and professionals event, and that is accurate. Family offices are a significant part of the audience but not the whole of it, and the commercial layer is open rather than capped. Anyone expecting a screened peer group will find something different. Set against that, the specialisation is real: most family office conferences give real estate one panel; this gives it two days.

How access works

Registration is online and paid, with rates that vary by attendee type and rise as the date approaches; the organiser advertises early-bird savings but does not publish the figures on the event page, so request them. Investors and family offices typically pay less than sponsors and service providers at IMN events; confirm your category before booking.

What attendees get

Onstage panels and closed-door discussions on where family capital is going in real estate, from direct investment and operating partnerships to credit and the funds route, with roundtables and breaks designed for introductions. A matchmaking app lets registered attendees see the full list, filter it and schedule meetings before the event, which is the practical tool for an office that comes to meet specific sponsors.

For an office with a direct property book, the choice between East and West is mostly geography and timing: Florida in October or California in June. Families who want real estate content inside a broader family office programme can look at DC Finance's Florida conference in December or the Family Office Super Summit the same month.
