The APAC Family Office Investment Summit is the Asia-Pacific edition of the regional series run by Alea Global Group, a Kuwait-based conglomerate owned by a member of the Al Duaij family. Unlike its Dubai, Rome and Mexico City summits, this one moves: the 2025 edition was in Singapore and the eighth edition runs on 20 and 21 October 2026 in Shanghai. The venue had not been named when we last checked.

Who attends

The organiser expects more than 80 family offices from across the region and applies its usual 70:30 ratio of family offices to service providers. The delegate list is curated rather than open. What makes the room different from the Singapore and Hong Kong events run by local organisers is the presence of Gulf and European family offices from Alea's wider network, which gives Asian principals direct contact with capital from other regions and vice versa.

How access works

Registration is by application and, in the organiser's words, subject to Advisory Board approval and payment of an attendance fee. No fee is published. Sponsorship runs in tiers (Turquoise and upward) and is the usual route for a firm that wants visibility beyond a delegate seat.

What attendees get

Two days of panels, presentations, roundtables and networking on cross-border investing, direct and co-investment and the regional opportunity set, moderated by Alea's own team. The rotating location means the local content changes each year: 2026 leans to mainland China, which few other family office summits cover from inside.

Alea runs the same format in other regions: the Middle East Family Office Investment Summit in Dubai each December, the Europe Family Office Investment Summit in Rome, the LATAM Family Office Investment Summit in Mexico City, an Africa summit and, from November 2026, a global gathering in London. Asian family offices that want a fixed-location alternative can compare the Global-Asia Family Office Summit in Singapore and the World Family Office Forum Asia in Hong Kong, both held in October.
