The LATAM Family Office Investment Summit is the Latin American edition of the regional summit series run by Alea Global Group, a Kuwait-based conglomerate owned by a member of the Al Duaij family. It is a family office hosting other family offices, which sets it apart from summits run by media or events companies. The sixth edition took place on 14 and 15 April 2026 at The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City, in partnership with Alba Medina; the seventh is set for 13 and 14 April 2027 in the same city.

Who attends

The organiser targets more than 100 single family offices from across Latin America and holds the room to a stated ratio of 70% family offices to 30% service providers. Speakers in recent editions have included principals of some of the region's best-known families. The rest of the room is international managers and providers who want to do business in the region.

That 70:30 rule is the thing to understand. It is looser than the invitation-only forums, which admit almost no providers, and much tighter than the open conferences, which cap nothing. A Latin American family office gets a room where most of the people are peers, and a provider gets a seat at a known price of admission, though not a published one.

How access works

Registration is by application and, in the organiser's words, subject to Advisory Board approval and payment of an attendance fee. No fee figure is published, for families or providers, so ask the organiser. Sponsorship runs in tiers named after stones (Turquoise, Jade, Topaz) plus general sponsors, and is the usual route for providers who want visibility beyond a delegate seat.

What attendees get

Two days of panels, presentations, networking lunches and breaks, with the agenda moderated by Alea's own team. The content leans to cross-border investing, direct and co-investment, and the regional opportunity set, with the Gulf and European family offices in Alea's network adding an outside perspective.

Alea runs the same format in other regions: the Europe Family Office Investment Summit in Rome, a Middle East summit in Dubai each December that is the oldest in the series, an APAC summit that rotates cities, an Africa summit and, from November 2026, a global gathering in London. Families with interests in more than one region can use several editions across the year.
