The Gen.T Summit is run by Tatler Asia, the regional media group behind Tatler magazine and part of the Edipresse Group. Tatler describes it as an innovation and ideas festival for bold and brave entrepreneurs and creatives across Asia, bringing international speakers together with the region's highest achieving young entrepreneurs.
Gen.T is Tatler's annual list of leaders under 40 across Asia, and the summit is built around that community. Understanding the list is the key to understanding the event: the honourees are the draw, and the summit is where they gather.
Who attends
The audience is young Asian entrepreneurs, creatives, investors and the Gen.T honourees themselves, together with Tatler's wider readership of wealthy families and individuals.
The badge on this listing marks it as a founders and executives event, and that is the honest description. This is not a family office meeting and does not present itself as one. It appears in this directory because a significant share of Asian family wealth sits with families whose next generation is building companies, and this is where that generation congregates. A principal in their sixties will find little here. Their daughter running a startup in Singapore may find it the most useful room in the region.
How access works
Tickets are curated rather than sold openly, with preference given to Gen.T honourees, founders and people already inside Tatler's communities. Tatler does not publish ticket prices for the summit.
There is a commercial layer. Tatler offers sponsorship and partnership packages around the summit and directs interested firms to contact the group. As with any media-owned event, sponsors shape part of the programme, and attendees should read it with that in mind.
What attendees get
The published framing is about courage and optimism, and about the people, ideas and technologies that open new possibilities. In practice the summit runs as a festival: talks from international speakers, sessions with honourees, investor meetups and invitation-only dinners around the main programme.
Those closed dinners are where most of the value sits, as is usually true of events built on a curated list. The public sessions establish who is present and what they are working on. The private ones are where introductions actually happen.
For a family office, the practical use is talent and deal flow rather than peer learning. If your family backs early-stage companies in Asia, or has a next-generation member finding their footing as a founder, this is the network that reaches them.
