The Asia-Pacific Family Office, Impact and Innovation Forum is Campden Wealth's annual Singapore meeting for families across the region. Now in its seventeenth edition, it is one of the longer-running family office events in Asia. Campden runs it at the Suntec Convention Centre over two days, and frames it around what it calls stewardship in motion: how families hold capital responsibly while backing new technology.

Who attends

Campden restricts attendance to families and the people who work directly for them. Its published rule is that places are limited to qualifying family principals, next-generation family members, family offices, family businesses and private investors. The forum page describes the audience as dynastic families, investors and people driving change, and Campden does not publish a family-to-advisor ratio for the event.

The qualification test that governs all Campden events is set out on a single form. To pass it you must be a family member or principal, an executive of a family or patrimonial business, an executive of a family foundation, or an executive of a family-controlled investment office, whether a single family office or a private multi-family office. That last category carries a condition: the office must not be affiliated with a bank, a financial services firm or a corporation. Advisory firms attached to institutions do not qualify through this route.

How access works

There are two paths. Members of the Campden Club confirm their place directly with the events team. Everyone else completes the qualification form, or asks for a call with the events team, before a place is offered. Members of the Institute for Private Investors, which sits alongside Campden, skip the form.

Campden does not publish a registration fee for this forum, and the general position across its calendar is that terms are given to each qualifying attendee rather than listed. Anyone budgeting for the event should ask the events team directly.

What attendees get

The agenda is organised around four areas: artificial intelligence, healthcare, education, and capital and infrastructure development. Sessions cover frontier innovation, capital stewardship and responsible wealth, which in practice means a mix of investment content and discussion of how families use their money beyond returns.

The main draw of the Campden format is who is in the room rather than the programme itself. Because Campden screens out institutional advisers at the registration stage, families meet other families with comparable problems, and conversations tend to run into the private detail that a mixed audience would prevent. Sponsors do take part as corporate partners, so this is not a closed peer group in the strictest sense, but the balance of the room is set deliberately.
