The PERE Asia Summit is PEI Group's three-day private real estate meeting for the Asia-Pacific region, held at the Grand Hyatt in Singapore. Recent editions have gathered more than 800 people, including over 250 investors and more than 90 speakers. PEI publishes a target of one manager for every investor in the room, which is a stricter balance than most sector conferences attempt.
Who attends
The investor side covers sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurance companies, foundations, endowments and family offices. The manager side is the private real estate industry: fund managers raising capital across the region and globally.
The badge on this listing marks it as part of the broader wealth community rather than a family office event. That is accurate. Family offices are one investor category among several, and the summit is designed around institutional capital. An office with a serious property allocation will find peers here, but they will be sitting next to pension fund staff rather than other principals.
How access works
There are two routes. Managers and most other attendees register and pay through the PEI checkout. PEI does not display those rates openly on the summit page, so a manager should expect to see the figure at the booking stage rather than in advance.
The route that matters to this directory is the complimentary investor pass. PEI limits these to foundations, endowments, trusts, insurance companies, single family offices, sovereign wealth funds and pension funds that are actively making commitments. Applications go through a form and PEI confirms eligibility before issuing the pass. The active commitment test is real: an office that is looking rather than allocating may not qualify.
Note that multi-family offices are absent from that list. The complimentary route is written for single family offices investing their own capital.
What attendees get
Three days of keynote panels on global real estate and capital flows, sessions by sector covering residential, industrial, data centres and operational property, and strategy discussions running from core through value-add and opportunistic into debt and secondaries. Regional coverage extends past Asia-Pacific into the US, Europe and emerging markets. Masterclasses and structured networking sit alongside the main programme.
For a family office with real estate at the centre of its portfolio, the case is depth and the calibre of the other investors. Three days is a significant commitment, but a free pass and a room of institutional allocators comparing notes on the same asset class is hard to match elsewhere in Asia.
