The Global Family Office Conference is the annual London gathering of the Global Family Office Community (GFOC), a private membership organisation for family office principals, families and executives founded by Vahe Vartanian. It runs for one full day each June. The twelfth edition took place on 2 June 2026 and the thirteenth is set for Tuesday 8 June 2027, at a central London venue disclosed only to approved guests.

Who attends

GFOC members: single family office principals, next-generation family members and the executives who run family offices, drawn from every continent. The organiser describes the conference as its largest gathering of the year and says the agenda is set by family offices, for family offices. It talks openly about the solitary nature of running a family office and positions the day as a peer room rather than a commercial conference. GFOC claims more than 2,000 family office members overall; the conference site invites visitors to join over 150 community members.

How access works

Attendance is for single family offices, family members of family offices and GFOC members. New single family offices may apply and are approved at the organiser's discretion. Anyone else who wishes to attend is screened and verified and may need to pay a fee; the amount is not published. Requests go through a web form on the conference site.

Providers do not buy tickets. The route in for firms is one of what the organiser calls a handful of sponsorship opportunities; recent partners include Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, KENDRIS, 1fs:Wealth and Agreus Group. That keeps the room weighted to families and their staff, at the cost of the price transparency that open conferences offer.

What attendees get

A day of presentations and discussions led by family offices and partner experts, with audience participation built in and the programme shaped by member input. Networking runs across the day, and the small number of sponsors means the conversations are mostly between peers.

GFOC runs a sister event, the USA Family Office Conference, in Beverly Hills each November, and other member activities through the year: undated forums, private lunches and dinners, a September retreat in the South of France for principals, the GFOC Journal and its GFOConnect platform. It also owns FamilyOfficeRecruitment.com. For a single family office in or near London that wants a peer-only day and is willing to be vetted, this is one of the few options that does not sell seats to the market.
