The Family Office Forum Zurich is the Swiss edition of the Prestel & Partner forum series, held over two days at the Dolder Grand. It is in its thirteenth year and gathers more than 100 single family offices and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Although it is hosted in Switzerland, the forum is run in English and draws families from well beyond the Swiss market.
Who attends
The organiser applies the same test at every forum in the series: do you have an offering for the audience, or not? Family principals, senior family office executives and wealth owners who are not selling attend as guests. Anyone offering financial products, services, co-investments, advice or commercial multi-family office work pays for a delegate pass or sponsors. Those who do both are assessed individually, on their main activity and on how other guests will see them.
The Zurich page puts the guest threshold simply: families with more than £150 million under management come as complimentary guests. A footnote elsewhere on the same page states the definition as at least US$150 million, and the general attendance rules set a minimum entry level of 120 million euros. The numbers are close but not identical, so confirm the current bar with the organiser.
How access works
Qualifying families apply directly and attend free. Providers pay published rates: £2,990 plus 8.1% Swiss VAT for one day, or £4,490 plus VAT for both days. There is no automatic right to attend or to sponsor at any price. Every application is reviewed, and the number of provider passes is capped so that families remain the majority in the audience and on the stage.
What attendees get
Two days of panels and interactive discussion across governance and investment, designed around what helps families hold wealth together across generations. Speakers are drawn largely from families and their offices rather than from the advisory market. Networking runs all day, and sales pitches are not part of the format.
Attendee details are not shared with other guests or with partners, and Prestel & Partner take no role in conversations that follow the forum. Agendas and post-event reports from previous Zurich editions are published on the event page and are the most reliable way to judge the content before applying.
