The Family Office Forum Frankfurt is the German edition of the Prestel & Partner forum series. For 15 years it ran in Wiesbaden at the Nassauer Hof; with that hotel closed for renovation, the 2026 edition moves to the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera on 22 and 23 September. The organiser still labels it "formerly Wiesbaden" so returning guests recognise it. It is largely a German-language forum, with international speakers on the programme, and it counts as the 81st forum the organiser has run worldwide.

Who attends

The organiser applies the same test at every forum in the series: do you have an offering for the audience, or not? Family principals and senior family office executives who are not selling attend as guests. The Frankfurt page sets the bar at family offices with at least EUR 150 million under management for one family or a small number of families, and excludes offices that act as solution providers to many third parties. Anyone offering financial products, services, co-investments or advice pays for a delegate pass or sponsors.

The organiser expects more than 100 family offices and states that families outnumber providers both on stage and in the audience. That ratio is the point of the format: German family offices are hard to reach, and this is one of the few rooms where a good number of them sit together.

How access works

Qualifying families apply directly and attend free. Providers pay published rates: £2,990 plus 19% German VAT for one day, or £4,490 plus VAT for both days. Prices are quoted in sterling because Prestel & Partner is a UK company. Every application is reviewed, and the number of provider passes is capped so families remain the majority.

What attendees get

Two days of panels and interactive discussion on governance, succession and investment, with speakers drawn mainly from families and their offices. Networking runs through both days and sales pitches are not part of the programme. Attendee lists are not shared with partners.

Because most of the programme is in German, the forum suits DACH-based offices and international offices with German-speaking staff better than English-only teams; the London, Zurich and New York editions serve the latter. Agendas and reports from earlier Wiesbaden editions sit on the event page and are the best way to judge the content before applying. Whether the forum returns to Wiesbaden after 2026 is not yet stated.
