The Family Office Forum Dubai is the Gulf edition of the Prestel & Partner forum series and the organiser's longest-running event in the region. The tenth edition took place in February 2026 under the theme "Family Growth and Stability"; the eleventh runs on 24 and 25 March 2027 at The Palace Downtown Dubai. It is held in English and gathers about 100 peers.

Who attends

The organiser frames the audience as family office leaders, family members and a small number of selected sector experts, drawn from the MENA region and internationally. The test for a free place is the one used across the series: a wealth owner or private family office with at least US$150 million in assets and no services to sell attends as a guest. The general attendance rules quote a minimum entry level of EUR 120 million; the two figures are close but not the same, so confirm the current bar with the organiser.

Anyone offering financial products, services, co-investments or advice pays for a delegate pass or sponsors, and provider places are capped so families remain the majority in the room and on the stage. Dubai's position as a base for international families gives this edition a wider mix of nationalities than the Riyadh forum.

How access works

Qualifying families apply directly and attend free. Providers pay published rates: £2,990 for a one-day pass or £4,490 for the full two days. Prices are in sterling because Prestel & Partner is a UK company; ask about UAE VAT. Every application is reviewed and there is no automatic right to attend or sponsor.

What attendees get

Two days of interactive panels on governance, succession and investment, with networking through both days and no sales pitches on the programme. Speakers come mainly from families and their offices. Attendee lists are not shared with partners, and the organiser plays no part in conversations that follow.

Ten editions give this forum something the newer Gulf events lack: a published record. Agendas and post-event reports from earlier years sit on the event page and are the most reliable way to judge the content before applying. Families based in Saudi Arabia can also consider the organiser's Riyadh forum each December.
