The Dallas conference is the North Texas event in the DC Finance series, held for a single day at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. Past editions run back to 2017. DC Finance markets it through what it calls its global family office and high-net-worth community, and the site's own headline for the event uses the high-net-worth wording rather than the wealth management wording that appears elsewhere.
Who attends
The stated audience is ultra-high-net-worth individuals and single family offices, together with the investment and wealth professionals who serve them. There is no published eligibility test, no asset threshold and no stated limit on how many places go to firms selling into the room.
This is an open industry conference rather than a screened peer forum, and the difference is worth weighing. A screened forum guarantees the ratio of families to providers and charges providers accordingly. An open conference gives you a broader room at the cost of that guarantee. Neither is better in the abstract, but they suit different reasons for going.
How access works
Registration is handled online through a link on the conference site, which routes to DC Finance's central portal. No ticket price is published for the Dallas conference and no separate family office rate is advertised, so terms have to be confirmed with the organiser.
What attendees get
One day covering a broad agenda: market outlook, real estate, technology and alternative investments, estate planning, preparing the next generation, women's entrepreneurship, family business, philanthropy, impact investing and the arts. The format favours short sessions and a long speaker list.
The practical argument for the Dallas edition is regional. Texas holds a large and growing concentration of private wealth, much of it first generation and much of it built in energy, real estate and technology, and the events aimed at that money are mostly on the coasts. Dallas and its sister conference in Houston are the two regular fixtures in the state, and the Bush Center venue draws a local audience that would not travel to New York for the same content.
DC Finance runs the same one-day format in Houston, Chicago, Miami, New York and London.
