Hayden joined Howden to build out its dedicated family office insurance practice, after previously running the family office insurance practice at USI. Earlier in his career he ran a large single family office himself, which gives him firsthand insight into the operational and risk challenges families face.
At Howden, Hayden takes a holistic approach to family office risk rather than insuring one property or asset at a time — from small personal policies to large commercial operating companies, private jets, and yachts. He draws on Howden's broader capabilities, including private capital and M&A risk, life insurance, and employee benefits, and brings in specialist teams (oil and gas, real estate, and others) as client needs require.
